Working Together Tool Box
We can get more done when we work together than when we each work on our own. But sometimes we do not know the best way to work together. Or we run into problems that make it hard for us to meet our goal. Edmonton PDD made the Working Together Tool Box to help you plan the best way to work together and solve problems along the way.
The Working Together Tool Box has ideas and information to help you work together better. It includes tips on how to work together, good reasons to work together, how to tell if you are working together well, and where to find more ideas to help you work together better.
The Tool Box uses plain words as much as it can, and explains many hard words that people use when they talk about working together. No one has put all this information into plain words before. So only people who could take courses or read books could learn the secrets of building teams, ending conflict and communicating well. Edmonton PDD has made a more level playing field by offering this resource to its community as a gift. PDD staff will use it to provide excellent service when they work with people who have developmental disabilities, families, service providers and others. That community can use it to make sure PDD staff work together well with them. People can use the Tool Box when they work together with anyone.
