How to Work Together
Once you agree to work with others, you need a plan for how to do it right. Just like a building project, there is a start, a middle and an end. If you make a mistake at the start, the project may fall apart before you are done. It is easier and cheaper to prevent problems than to fix them later.
This part of the Tool Box tells you the steps to take from start to finish, once you know you will work together. The important steps are
- Decide who needs to take part in the project.
- Invite them to work together with you as a team.
- Have the first meeting with the team.
- Do your part in the project and follow up with your partners.
- Celebrate together when the project has succeeded.
