Practise "I" Talk

Change these statements to follow the rules for how to speak up for yourself well. Be sure to use "I" statements.

  1. You never want to do anything fun with me.
  2. If we both agree to be on time, we would not be late all the time.
  3. No one picks up after themselves anymore.
  4. Why do I always get the boring jobs?
  5. No one ever tells me what is going on. They just expect me to guess.
  6. All you do is pick on me. You never say anything good about my work.
  7. They do not care about us. When did they ever listen to what we have to say?
  8. I feel it was thoughtless of you not to tell me first.
